Transcript versus work

A transcript shows what you scored.

Your profile shows what you built.

Grades are one line on a sheet. In high school or at university, on BeyondScholar the work comes first: projects of every kind, from code and design to research, writing, art, volunteering or a small business, with images and links, then awards, certificates and publications, and the support you need, in your own words.

Safety, said plainly

A real benefactor never asks you for money.

  1. 01

    Verified organizations only.

An admin checks every organization (a registration document or official website, a working organizational email domain, or a call) before it can see students or message them. Verified organizations carry a badge.

  2. 02

    You control contact.

Block any organization and report any message. Three valid reports suspend an organization until it is reviewed.

  3. 03

    Money stays visible.

BeyondScholar never asks for payment. Money and calls stay off the platform: chat is text only, and a meeting link is enough.

BeyondScholar never asks for payment.

A real benefactor never asks a student for money, card details or documents beyond what an opportunity lists.

Hello Anahit, we read about your air-quality sensor. What support would help you most this year?

A mentor in embedded systems, and a summer internship if one opens. My project page has the code and photos.

Thank you. Could we talk on Thursday? Here is a meeting link: join the call

Our story

Built by a student who lived the questions.

What if a student’s future depended less on where they were born, and more on the opportunities they knew how to find?

I grew up in Armenia believing that education could open doors. I dreamed of studying abroad, of meeting people who think differently and growing beyond the world I knew.

But when I started looking, I saw the problem. The opportunities existed: scholarships, internships, programs. What was hard was finding them, and knowing where to take the first step.

I saw the other side too. Students are judged by transcripts. A transcript doesn’t show the project someone built at night or the award they won. And the people who want to help have no single place to find those students.

Two groups who need each other, and can’t meet.

So I’m building the bridge. On BeyondScholar, students build a living portfolio. Verified organizations and benefactors discover them, and students can reach out too. Scholarships, grants, internships, jobs, mentorship.

That’s why the name is BeyondScholar: beyond the scholarship, beyond borders, beyond what students believe is possible.

I’m still a student myself. I’m not building this because I have all the answers, but because I’ve lived the questions.
